Thrawn Revealed in New Star Wars: Ahsoka Trailer
The latest trailer for Star Wars: Ahsoka has finally revealed the face of Thrawn, the iconic villain from Star Wars Rebels. The trailer also gives us a glimpse at Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla, and other familiar faces from the animated series.

The trailer opens with Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson) on a desert planet, searching for Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen). We then see Hera (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and Sabine (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) meeting with a council that includes Mon Mothma (Genevieve O'Reilly). Sabine is now a Jedi, and she addresses Ahsoka as "Master."
The trailer also shows us some new characters, including Baylan (Ray Stevenson), a warrior who warns of an impending war. We also get a glimpse of Thrawn himself, who is still as cunning and ruthless as ever.
The Story
Star Wars: Ahsoka takes place after the events of Star Wars Rebels, which saw Ahsoka and Sabine go on a mission to find Ezra Bridger, who was lost in hyperspace with Thrawn. The trailer suggests that Ahsoka is still searching for Ezra and that she may have finally found a lead.
The trailer also hints at a larger conflict brewing in the galaxy. Thrawn is a powerful enemy, and his return could mean trouble for the New Republic. It will be interesting to see how Ahsoka and Sabine team up to face this new threat.

In addition to Dawson, Mikkelsen, Winstead, and Bordizzo, the cast of Star Wars: Ahsoka also includes The Expanse's Wes Chatham, Ivanna Sakhno, Diana Lee Inosanto, Temuera Morrison, and Hayden Christensen.
