The trailer opens with Jaime finding the suit in a junkyard. He quickly realizes that the suit is more than just a piece of clothing and that it gives him incredible powers. Jaime must learn to control these powers and use them to protect his community from danger.
The trailer also features appearances from Jaime's family and friends, including his parents, his uncle, and his sister. It also gives a glimpse of the film's villain, Carapax the Indestructible.
Blue Beetle is directed by Angel Manuel Soto and written by Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on August 18, 2023.
